Author, Sydney Alicia.
Sydney Alicia has been writing her entire life, but decided to take on the task of writing her first supernatural novel entitled, Dance of the Immortal. It's her first, full-length novel, and is still in the editing and critiquing stages. She wants to make sure it's her best piece of work before seriously querying agents and publishers. She is also working on her second piece of fiction entitled, Miss Pennylack and the Kingdom of Iydes, a children's novel.
Author, Sydney Alicia, grew up in a small town in the now booming oil state of North Dakota, which lies directly on top of the largest oil reserve in the world, Bakken Oil Reserve. Growing up in a small town didn't offer much for activity, and it was in this same small town where her imagination bloomed. Sydney has always been a creator of some sort or another, but writing has always been her first passion. In high school she filled entire notebooks with heartfelt poetry and short stories.
After graduate school, and due to the lagging economy, Sydney went on to work for Demand Media Studios as a freelance article writer. You can find the link to her professional page, and samples of some of her work here: http://www.demandstudios.com/profile-8c12d5e3-S.-Edmonds/
It is her aspiration to be published by one of the top ten publishers in the country. She has decided that she will write and re-write, edit and re-edit as many times as it takes to eke out her first masterpiece. Sydney has an active imagination and the tenacity of a pit bull, and there is no doubt in anyone's mind that she will accomplish what she has set out to do.
